SIP Panels are strong and can act as the building structure for light commercial projects up to 5 stories. On high rise commercial projects, the SIP panel becomes the insulated building skin or cladding and acts as a replacement for masonry block, metal framing and other exterior infill wall building products. SIP panels can reduce the weight of a building by as much as 40% compared to masonry block in-fill wall systems. These reductions in weight convert into hundreds of thousands of dollars ($) in construction cost savings by reducing the size of foundations, beams and other structural elements of the the building.  The end result is a lighter building that is more resistant to seismic activity and performs better during hurricane s than traditional building materials.
